Privacy Policy

Last updated 12 October 2026

This policy explains what information Anqa One collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. We keep it plain and specific to how the product actually works.

Anqa One is based in Hyderabad.

Who we are and our role

Anqa One (“we”, “us”) provides business-management software: tasks, clients, sales, GST invoices, attendance, payroll and reports.

When a company uses Anqa One, the company decides what information about its team and customers goes into the product. For that information, the company is in control of the data and we process it on the company’s behalf. For the account details of the people who sign up and for how the website itself is used, we decide the purpose and means ourselves.

Information we collect

We collect only what the product needs to work.

  • Account details: your name, phone number, email address and password. Passwords are handled by our sign-in provider and are never visible to us in plain text.
  • Company details: company name, business type, GST status and GSTIN, address, logo, and the bank, UPI and invoice details you choose to print on invoices.
  • Team information a company enters: names, roles, designations, departments, phone numbers, dates of birth, addresses, salary, PAN, bank account details, and documents such as Aadhaar and certificates that employees upload to their profile.
  • Business records: clients, leads, tasks, projects, quotations, invoices, payments, expenses, expense claims and receipts, leave requests, payroll and complaints.
  • Attendance information: check-in and check-out times, late minutes, breaks and, if the company turns on location check-in, the location coordinates captured at check-in.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, and the time of each sign-in, used for security and to show administrators sign-in activity. If you enable notifications, your browser’s push-notification address.
  • Payment information: when you pay, Razorpay handles your card, UPI or bank details. We receive only the order and payment reference, the amount and whether it succeeded. We never see or store your card number.

How we use information

  • To provide the product: sign you in, store and show your company’s records, calculate invoices and payroll, and send in-app and push notifications.
  • To manage subscriptions, take payments and respond to support requests.
  • To keep the service secure: detect misuse, prevent automated sign-ups, and investigate problems.
  • To improve reliability and fix bugs.
  • To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your information. We do not show advertising, and the site does not use advertising or analytics trackers.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers that process information for us only to run the service:

  • Supabase: database, sign-in, file storage and server functions.
  • Cloudflare: website hosting and delivery, and the bot check on sign-in pages.
  • Razorpay: payment processing.
  • Browser and device notification services (for example those run by Google, Apple and Mozilla), only if you turn on notifications.

Within a company, information is visible only to the people the company has given access to, based on their role and the permissions the company set. One company’s information is kept separate from every other company’s.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public. If the business is ever sold or reorganised, information may transfer to the new owner under the same protections.

How we protect information

  • Information is encrypted while it travels between your device and our servers.
  • Each company’s data is isolated at the database level and access is controlled by role and permission.
  • Sensitive fields such as salary, PAN and bank details are restricted to the people who need them.
  • Users can turn on two-step verification with an authenticator app, and payslip PDFs can be protected with the employee’s PAN.
  • Sign-in pages are protected against bots and repeated guessing.

No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

How long we keep information

We keep a company’s information while its account exists. If a trial or subscription ends, the information is kept so you can come back and continue. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete the company’s information within a reasonable period, which we aim to keep to 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as payment and tax records.

Your rights and choices

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and related rules, you can:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
  • Ask us to correct or complete information that is wrong.
  • Ask us to erase information we no longer need.
  • Withdraw a consent you gave us, for example for notifications, which you can also switch off in Settings at any time.
  • Raise a complaint about how your information is handled.

If you are an employee of a company that uses Anqa One, the company is usually the right first contact for your employment records. We will help the company respond to you.

Cookies and browser storage

We use your browser’s storage to keep you signed in and to remember small preferences such as language and theme. Our bot check may set a short-lived cookie to tell people from automated programs. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Children

Anqa One is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and, for important changes, tell account owners in the product or by email.
